FRIDAY AFTERNOON

FRIDAY EVENING

(6:00pm-TBD)  Cocktail party and catching up with old friends. 

(Dinner – As determined by the group) – There are several nice places to eat right there at the Showboat as well as several other places very close by.  We’re going to keep this loose and pliable and let the group(s) munch and enjoy as desired.  There are several nice little bars and private sitting areas, gambling, etc.  The House of Blues is right there in the in the Showboat if anyone wants to see the show.  

  

SATURDAY AM

 (9:00)-BREAKFAST. For early risers and those who want to get their day started quickly, there will be a casual breakfast meet-up where you can organize your own small group and can branch off to enjoy the boardwalk, swim, shop or cruise on down to the Steel Pier for some fun in the sun. 

 

(10:00)-GOLF.  For anyone who is interested in playing a nice round of Golf we have made arrangements with the Seaview Golf Course.  A bag lunch will be provided for an additional $17, if you want (not required), and we will sort out transportation as the group develops.  Please contact Al Mistove for Tee-times and arrangements at: Amistove@comcast.net

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

(12:00)-LUNCH.  For those who decide to sleep in a little later, or just want to regroup with the main 'bunch', a location for lunch will be organized.  Small groups can branch off again after lunch as desired.  

 
 There are plenty of other relaxing vacation and fun activities for any and all tastes. Shopping outlets, spa treatments, jet skis, charter boat fishing and other great times both on and off the boardwalk.  

  


SATURDAY NIGHT

(6:00)-COCKTAILS/(7:00)-DINNER/(8:00)-DANCING

There will be a nice buffet style three course dinner, DJ, dancing and door prizes.  The (cash) bar will be open from 6:00-12:00.  For those who would like to stay up after midnight and continue to socialize, gamble or dance, there are plenty of facilities either at the Showboat or close by right there on the boardwalk at the other casinos.  

 

SUNDAY AM 

(10:00-1:00)-'CASUAL' BRUNCH.  For anyone who needs to get on the road early please feel free to meet for a casual brunch and depart as needed.  Checkout time is not until NOON and feel free to leave your bags with the concierge if you would like to spend the afternoon enjoying your last day in AC.

NOTE:  The cost for Saturday’s dinner/dancing event is $92 per person.  All other weekend activities are ‘a la carte’ and you can attend or not attend each as you please.  No other charges or fees are required and you can come for just Saturday night if you wish, although we would love for you to come for the entire weekend.

DIRECTIONS 

By Land

From the North , major interstate highways connect with the Garden State Parkway South, to the Atlantic City Expressway.

From the South , I-95 to Delaware Memorial Bridge to Route 40 to Route 322. Or via Lewes, Delaware, take the Cape May-Lewes Ferry to the Garden State Parkway North to the Atlantic City Expressway.

From the West , via Philadelphia, Walt Whitman Bridge to North-South Freeway (Route 42) to Atlantic City Expressway. 


By Air 

The Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) is located just minutes from the city and offers shuttle, taxi and rental car transportation. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is a quick 60-minute drive via the Atlantic City Expressway.

By Rail

NJ Transit Rail runs direct from Philadelphia's 30th Street Station to Atlantic City. For more information, call 973-275-5555. The Atlantic City rail station adjoins the Convention Center. Free casino shuttle service is available from Atlantic City terminal to all casinos.  

Atlantic City Express Service (ACES) provides comfortable and convenient weekend travel between NYC and Atlantic City. Departing from New York’s Penn Station with one stop in Newark, NJ, ACES continues direct to Atlantic City. By Bus

There is frequent motorcoach service from New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC via all major carriers.

 

 


Local Transit

Atlantic City's unique Jitney mini-buses stop at all hotels and attractions. The city's famous wicker rolling chairs provide service up and down the Boardwalk and, of course, taxis are readily available.
